Authorized Lava™ Rapid Manufacturing Center (RMC)
As a 3M ESPE Authorized Lava Design or Milling Center, you have the opportunity to do more than create Lava™ Zirconia restorations. Use the optional software module to digitally design wax/resin patterns. The wax/resin restorations are produced using additive third party technology - 3D printing available from Udell – an Authorized Lava™ Rapid Manufacturing Center.

Stereolithography - STL Files
The ProJet™ Production System is ideal for a wide-range of uses including concept development, design validation, form and fit analysis, small-detail parts, high-detail packaging, accessories, molding and casting patterns, and direct investment techniques such as the casting of jewelry and other fine feature applications.
We accept STL files from any open-source scanner or software system to print on our 3D Systems DP 3000 Wax Printers.

PROJET™ DP 3000
This Dental Professional 3-D Modeler accurately, consistently and economically prints precision wax-ups for dental professionals:
- The user scans a model
- A virtual wax-up is designed using 3-D software
- Data is sent to the ProJet™ Production System to "print" wax-ups in layers
- Accepts standard STL file
The system can generate hundreds of units each cycle. The wax-ups have a smooth surface finish and can be cast or pressed with conventional techniques.

Sensable Authorized Production Center (SAPC)
As a SAPC, Udell provides your laboratory design and production services. Outsource your wax-ups for standard crown and bridge copings, anatomical copings with full contours for pressables, full contours for monolithic pressables, full cast crowns, and cast partial frameworks. We are here to provide your lab backup capacity and emerging technology.
If you're a SensAble Design Center, send us your digital files and we will print them on our 3D Systems DP 3000 Wax Printers. The wax-ups have a smooth surface finish and can be cast or pressed with conventional techniques.
How it works:
- Contact Scott Udell to discuss your preferences, pricing, turnaround time and other logistics
- From your SensAble Design Center , choose Udell as the SAPC
- To make one job go to Udell, on the build tab click "Select SAPC," and then "Select" under Udell.
- To make all future jobs go to Udell, update in the ADMIN...->SAPC menu to "UDELDL" for crown/bridge and/or partial frameworks or both.
- When you hit the send button and get "transfer complete," your design and job information are sent to Udell.
- Udell will complete your case according to your preferences (wax, rough cast, finished cast).

3Shape Dental System™
As a 3Shape Dental System owner, you have the ability to send us digital files. Udell produces your wax/resin restorations using additive third party technology - on the Projet DP 3000 Printers.
System Featues:
- D700 laser 3D scanner
- CAD modeling program
- Dental manager application for managing and exchanging production files
From design, two separate files are automatically prepared for output: one for the anatomically correct coping, and the second for the pressed pattern. We can also print patterns for monolithic pressed restorations. These files can then automatically be transferred to their respective fabricating equipment.
